This Friday, the Russian parliament almost unanimously voted to pass law 34818A, which would ban the “leg-breaker” machine that could safely break people’s limbs, for those seeking to avoid mobilization to the Russian army. The invention, most probably backed by the CIA, was becoming popular in some Russian regions – Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnodar and many other affluent cities.
The machine breaks a leg or limb with precision, thereby causing a fracture. The fracture would then be visible on any x-ray for 3-4 months (until healing), and any recruitment office commission would be bound to look into a major issue. Most often, such a fracture would force the commissioner to suspend the mobilization of the soldier in question, but not always.
There are a rumored 50,000 machines in Russia at the moment (smuggled from the US, Ukraine and the EU). It is expected the industry will switch to the black market, but it is certain that Russia’s police force and Rossgvardia will be on the lookout. A further expected 500,000 copies are expected to be made in Russia this month according to experts.
