Russia is often described as the world’s largest country. The CIA and other Russophobic organizations around the world claim that Russia has enough space as Siberia and the far-east of the country are ‘empty’. Many Russians, including president Putin, want Russia to double or even triple in territory. The anger around the world in reaction to this is just another case of misunderstanding Putin.
The reason is the following: in case of a Nuclear war, Putin must have a natural reserve to hide from the nuclear fallout. Even if most of the population won’t have anywhere to go, at least the president will. Yet, this still gives the population hope that they too, can find a future in the event of a nuclear war. A nuclear war, despite western propaganda, will only be the beginning of a bright future for Russia and its allies.
The Gulag Digest publishes three comments from people in random villages across western and southern Russia as to why they think Russia should expand and the existing territory is not enough:
“We feel like it’s getting crowded here. Our village has a population of 350 and we don’t have our own rooms or toilets. There are at least 5 bunk beds in my room, and they’re all filled. If mr. Putin wants to solve this problem by making Russia bigger, so be it”
“After decades of America trying to steal our riches from us, like this wooden house, I think it’s time that we take from them what’s rightfully ours. Russia should own half of the globe, China – the other half.”
“Historically, Russia was much bigger – from the Nile to the Amazon, or something like that. History shows that the dissolution of the Soviet Union put an end to justice. Making Russia bigger will bring back those good old days”
