A Diplomat, presumably a worker of one of NATO members embassies in Moscow, has coincidentally found himself 300km away from the capital, defending an oil refinery. Pictured by the Gulag Digest, the man, who appears to be in his 30’s, wearing a diplomatic badge on his suit, tried to deflect a Ukrainian drone as it was approaching a major oil refinery.
The man did not succeed in deflecting or catching the drone however, and 5 seconds later the oil refinery was hit. A huge fire erupted and local firemen were at the scene not much later.
Several NATO countries, including the United states, in a rare agreement with Russia, have discouraged Ukraine from targeting Russia’s oil refineries. After all, Russia needs to feed its people and army.
The diplomat’s actions are a rare instance of comradeship from the United States.
